Indian astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, currently aboard the International Space Station (ISS), is set to return to Earth on July 14, as announced by Axiom Space Inc.
The Ax-4 crew, including Commander Peggy Whitson, Pilot Shubhanshu “Shux” Shukla, and Mission Specialists Sławosz “Suave” Uznański-Wiśniewski and Tibor Kapu, is scheduled to undock at 7:05 a.m. ET (4:35 p.m. IST), pending favorable weather conditions.
The team has been conducting a wide array of scientific experiments aboard the ISS aimed at advancing space research and applications on Earth.
Their mission, originally slated for a two-week duration, began in late June and was earlier expected to conclude by July 10. The European Space Agency (ESA) also supported the new return date of July 14.
