Amritsar, October 14: The Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) will hold its annual elections on November 3, the executive committee announced on Monday. The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami.
Elections will be conducted for the posts of President, Senior Vice President, Junior Vice President, General Secretary, and 11 members of the Interim Committee.
“The elections will take place on November 3 during the General House Session by SGPC members,” said Dhami.
The SGPC holds these elections every year in November to elect its president and other key office-bearers, responsible for the management of gurdwaras across Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Chandigarh.
