Ferozepur/Ludhiana, July 3 — Lakhwinder Singh (57), injured when missile debris hit his house during a Pakistani aerial intrusion in Punjab’s Ferozepur on May 9, died Tuesday night at a Ludhiana hospital, officials said.
His wife Sukhwinder Kaur (50) had died earlier on May 13, while their son Jaswinder Singh (24) survived.
The family was injured after debris from a Pakistani missile strike set their home and car on fire amid rising tensions following India’s May 7 strikes on terror targets in Pakistan and PoK, in response to an April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam.
“I lost both my parents. I’ve lost everything,” Jaswinder said.
