Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Train in Mission, B.C.

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a train in Mission, B.C., on Tuesday evening. The incident happened near the intersection of Lougheed Highway and Hawkins Pickle Road around 5:40 p.m., according to Mission RCMP.
BC Emergency Health Services dispatched three ambulances, including one with
advanced care paramedics, along with a supervisor. No patients were transported to hospital.
CPKC, the railway company involved, confirmed the incident and said it remains under investigation.
