On the other hand, DMU Jalandhar Amritsar is being started by Firozpur Division after a long time from 6th December.
Let us inform that for long distance trains from Jandiala station, Amritsar Katihar Express, Amritsar Dadar Express, Tata Muri Express and Chhattisgarh Express trains halt at the station. Passengers going from here by these trains travel to other cities including Delhi, Mumbai. But for the last one and a half year, due to non-reservation of unreserved tickets in these long distance trains, passengers going from here to Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Ambala and other cities. had stopped his journey. Before the corona period, tickets were sold here every day for about 10 thousand rupees.
The local people demanded from the Railway Ministry that the unreserved ticket counter at Jandiala railway station should be made operational soon for passengers traveling short distances in express trains.
